Hi, everyone !!
While it doesn't quite match the number of new channels released two weeks ago, I'm pleased to say we've had ANOTHER HUGE CROP OF NEW CHANNELS to further boost the UK Channel Store. Matching the total from last week, no less than NINETY-FOUR NEW ROKU APPS have been added to the already vast selection of over six thousand four hundred which populated the channel store as of this time last weekend. That means we have now been blessed with almost fourteen hundred new apps, during a period of just fourteen weeks, any of which UK Roku owners can add to the individual selection of apps installed on their device(s). As if that wasn't enough... there are also several items of streaming-related news for me to report on but, as was the case last weekend, I will (once more) need to postpone my summary of all the Roku (and other) news from the past seven days until I can find the time to catch up with everything and add the "missing" details to both posts - because, right now, I must again focus on listing all of those new Roku apps for you! ;-) :-)
Before I get into the current list of channels, however, I would just like to point-out that the ongoing issue of "missing" reviews from the 'Roku Guide' website appears to have gotten even worse. Over the course of the last fourteen weeks, my 'Weekly RoundUp' posts have seen a total of 1,372 new channels added. Meanwhile, the number of 'Roku Guide' reviews being published has continued to fall short of the mark during that time. Looking at all the articles they have published since the start of the year, there has been a total of only 423 new reviews added to their website. With a minimum of around another eighty "missing" reviews from the last week they remain close to seventy percent shy of where they should be and, if this continues, there could be hundreds (if not thousands) more Roku channels with no corresponding independent review for me to provide a link from each of the relevant 'Weekly RoundUp' posts on my blog. I'm hoping this shortfall will be addressed soon because, as mentioned ten weeks ago, the current situation isn't good for anyone with a connection to the Roku platform: be they end-users, developers, bloggers like myself, or even Roku - whose platform provides the very source from which the 'Roku Guide' website generates their reviews! :-O
Still, back to the list... which, as always, will help you to identify the very latest apps that have been added to Roku devices in the UK. Other websites offering Roku channel listings will base their contents on the Roku USA Channel Store, which means they also include apps that are unavailable to UK Roku users. So, like I've said before... if you really want to know what's available channel-wise, for owners of Roku devices in the UK, you need to be reading this blog each and every week! ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- That, although the 'HD Poster' image (aka channel icon) for 'Cities Southeast Asia' is identical to the one for 'Western Europe Cities' outlined above, this would appear to be an error on the part of the developer and (as such) should hopefully be corrected in due course. Certainly, it is not a case of my uploading the wrong image... but, given that this is how the 'Cities Southeast Asia' app is currently represented in the Roku Channel Store, I thought it best to use the same (incorrect) image until such a time as the developer amends the channel package and replaces it with another. Needless to say, as soon as I'm made aware of any change to the 'HD Poster' image for 'Cities Southeast Asia', I will update this post with whatever channel icon has been provided by way of an update to this app. ;-) :-)

PLEASE NOTE:- This 'Iran Mahvareh Pro' channel was first published as a 'Monthly' subscription Roku channel with an associated cost of £2.49 per month but, within days of it's original release, the developer of the 'Iran Mahvareh Pro' channel switched the payment plan to 'Annual' meaning there is now a charge of £24.49 per year associated with the purchase of a subscription to this service for those choosing to subscribe via their Roku device. It's not yet clear whether the monthly plan remains an option for those who subscribe via other methods (e.g. through their official website) so, to avoid being charged annually, I suggest you first contact them to discuss any alternative payment options.
